ALERT: Major FBI Raid (Video)

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Clouds are darkening over the administration of New York’s Democrat Mayor, Eric Adams, as the FBI has carried out a major new raid targeting yet another one of his top aides as part of a high-profile corruption investigation.

FBI operatives conducted a search at the Bronx residence of Winnie Greco, a high-ranking assistant to Mayor Eric Adams, on Thursday, as confirmed by law enforcement insiders to The New York Post.

Greco is already under investigation by the city’s Department of Investigation for allegedly exploiting her official position to receive benefits, including home improvements. She had her Pelham Bay house visited by federal agents.

The federal team cordoned off the street outside her home and remained there into the afternoon, according to various sources.

The connection between this FBI operation, initially reported by News 12 Bronx, and the ongoing investigation is yet to be determined.

A spokesperson for the FBI’s New York field office informed The Post that “law enforcement activities” were conducted at the location on that day, without providing additional details.

Greco, 61, who serves as the director of Asian affairs for Adams with an annual salary of $100,000, came under fire last year following reports by The City.

These reports alleged that she offered a campaign volunteer a position in the Adams administration in exchange for kitchen renovation work in early 2022.

She also allegedly tried to solicit a $10,000 donation from a notable Chinese business figure for a mayor-hosted event focusing on Chinese interests at Gracie Mansion.

Greco’s association with Adams traces back to his tenure as Brooklyn borough president, during which she contributed as a volunteer fundraiser and liaison to the Chinese community, notably facilitating Adams’ visit to China.

She is not the first close aide to Adams to come under legal scrutiny within the past year.

In November, the FBI searched the Brooklyn residence of Brianna Suggs, a key fundraiser for the mayor, linked to an alleged kickback plot with the Turkish government.

At that time, Adams stated that Suggs was still performing “administrative work” for his campaign following the federal intervention.

On Thursday, City Hall said no federal law enforcement official has reached out to the administration concerning matters related to Winnie Greco.

“As we have repeatedly said, we don’t comment on matters that are under review, but will fully cooperate with any review underway. The mayor has not been accused of any wrongdoing,” said an Adams spokesman, Fabien Levy.
