(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Whatever criminal acts Joe Biden’s family committed, it probably extends beyond them. Still, House Republicans seem on top of that as a key congressman has just launched a probe of the US intelligence agencies over alleged obstruction favoring the Bidens.
This week, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan initiated an inquiry into allegations that intelligence agencies impeded the investigative efforts of Republican Senators Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who were probing the Biden family’s overseas business engagements.
In a letter to Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Avril Haines, Jordan demanded access to documents and information after Grassley accused the FBI of obstructing Congress by misrepresenting their investigative actions as foreign misinformation.
“The Committee on the Judiciary and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government are investigating allegations that the US Intelligence Community obstructed a congressional inquiry in 2020 by falsely alleging that the work of two US Senators was advancing Russian ‘disinformation,’” the letter states, as cited by The Daily Caller.
“Information we have obtained indicates that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) possesses documents and information vital to our oversight. Accordingly, we request your cooperation in this matter,” Jordan wrote, emphasizing the necessity of DNI cooperation.
In his October 24 letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray, Grassley alleged a briefing provided by the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF) in August 2020 was misconstrued by critics to discredit his investigation as relying on foreign disinformation.
“On August 6, 2020, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) then-Deputy Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, Nikki Floris, and its then-Section Chief of the Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), Bradley Benavides, provided a so-called ‘defensive’ briefing to Senators Charles Grassley and Ron Johnson about the threat of Russian ‘disinformation,’” Jordan wrote to the DNI.
It adds that despite claims that the briefing was Russia-centric, it ultimately disrupted the Senators’ probe into Hunter Biden’s financial ties to international governments and individuals.
Furthermore, Grassley’s letter asserts that the FBI was receiving “criminal information” from over 40 confidential sources on Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and James Biden, with allegations of a $10 million bribe involving wanted pro-Russian Ukrainian businessman Mykola Zlochevsky and the Bidens.
These bribery allegations have been reinforced by testimony from former US Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania Scott Brady.
Jordan has set a deadline of November 15 for Haines’ office to fulfill his document request.
