BREAKING: Trump Posts Demand of DC Judge

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – BREAKING NOW: Donald Trump declared Sunday that it is impossible for him to receive a fair trial over the allegations of election interference he’s facing. He demands a change in the case’s location and the presiding judge.

At 77, Trump affirmed his legal team is set to request the recusal of Judge Tanya Chutkan from the Washington DC federal court. Chutkan is the judge currently handling the federal case concerning Trump’s alleged attempts to interfere with the 2020 election.

On Truth Social, Trump published a post on Sunday morning stating, “THERE IS NO WAY I CAN GET A FAIR TRIAL WITH THE JUDGE ‘ASSIGNED’ TO THE RIDICULOUS FREEDOM OF SPEECH/FAIR ELECTIONS CASE. EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS, AND SO DOES SHE! WE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ASKING FOR RECUSAL OF THIS JUDGE ON VERY POWERFUL GROUNDS, AND LIKEWISE FOR VENUE CHANGE, OUT OF D.C.”

Despite not overseeing Trump’s arraignment on Thursday, Chutkan is the presiding judge for this case. She is known for her harsh treatment of Trump supporters involved in the 2021 Capitol riot. She is considered much stricter than Florida federal Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, who is managing the case accusing him of stockpiling top-secret documents at his Palm Beach estate, Mar-a-Lago.

Chutkan, a former President Barack Obama nominee, was randomly chosen to oversee the third criminal indictment against Trump. Recently, Trump’s legal team’s request for more time to respond to the Justice Department’s plea for a protective order was turned down by the 61-year-old judge. This protective order seeks to restrict the details Trump can disclose about the case publicly.

Following a Truth Social post by Trump that said, “If you go after me, I’m coming after you,” prosecutors asked Chutkan to limit his public remarks. Trump and his team have until 5 p.m. ET Monday to respond to this request.

Last week, Special Counsel Jack Smith charged Trump with a four-count indictment relating to his efforts to contest the 2020 election. These charges include obstruction and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, conspiracy against rights, and conspiracy to defraud the US. Trump pleaded not guilty on Thursday at his arraignment.
