(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In another severe blow to Hunter Biden, House Republicans have revealed that he accepted millions of dollars from oligarchs in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
The latest findings of the GOP-led House Oversight Committee show Hunter and other Biden family members received more wire transfers while Joe Biden was vice president.
When the newly exposed transfers from Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan are added to the previously uncovered ones from Communist China and Romania, the total amount of money the Bidens took from abroad during the Obama administration surpasses $20 million, The Daily Caller reports.
The latest batch of wire payments to the Bidens came from Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina, pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky through his energy company Burisma, and Kazakh oligarch Kenes Rakishev.
The term “oligarch” describes cronies in post-Communist former Soviet countries, such as the above, who typically got fortunes through ties to the ruling regime and intelligence services. As a rule, post-Communist oligarchs are loyal to Moscow even in countries outside Russia.
The later revelations by the House Oversight Committee show that Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina, the wife of late Moscow Mayor Yury Luzkov, an ally of both Vladimir Putin and his predecessor Boris Yeltsin, sent Hunter Biden $3.5 million in February 2014.
Baturina’s wire transfer went to Rosemont Seneca Thornton, a shell company Hunter Biden and his partner Devon Archer owned. A 2020 US Senate report on Hunter’s foreign business affairs also noted the hefty payment.
Almost $1 million of Baturina’s money was transferred to Archer, while the remainder was sent to Rosemont Seneca Bohai, another shell firm that he and Hunter Biden used for accepting foreign payments.
The GOP-led House Oversight Committee also found that Zlochevsky’s company, Burisma, sent Hunter and his partners $6.5 million in multiple wire transfers.
In another former Soviet Space payment, Kazakh oligarch Kenes Rakishev wired $142,300 to Rosemont Seneca Bohai in April 2014. The following day, the account paid the same sum for Hunter Biden’s luxury sports car, a Fisker, which he later exchanged for a Porsche, The New York Post reports.
Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) stressed that Joe Biden attended dinners at Café Milano in DC with Hunter, Archer, Rakishev, and Baturina in 2014-2015.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself,” Comer explained.
“And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered. This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son,” he added.
“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States,” the Kentucky Republican concluded.
