Trump DA Gets Bad News

Donald Trump

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Persecuting Donald Trump is taking a terrible turn for Fani Willis, the wokeist DA who has come up with 2020 election fraud charges against the former president in Georgia – as she now faces a hearing over revelations she hired her lover as a lavishly paid prosecutor in the case.

The judge presiding over the case, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, has scheduled a hearing on February 15 to address claims that Willis and her lead prosecutor, Nathan Wade, engaged in an inappropriate relationship.

These allegations, which must be responded to by Willis by February 2, as stated in a recent court order, have added a layer of complexity to the high-stakes case, The New York Post observes in a report.

At the same time, in Nathan Wade’s divorce proceedings, Willis’s legal team has filed a motion.

They are attempting to exempt Willis from being questioned by Wade’s ex-wife, who is seeking to depose the District Attorney.

This move has attracted attention, especially given the timing and nature of the allegations.

Mike Roman, one of the 19 co-defendants in the Georgia election fraud case, who was Trump’s director of Election Day operations in 2020, has called for the disqualification of the entire prosecution team due to the alleged romantic involvement between Willis and Wade.

“The District Attorney chose to appoint her romantic partner, who at all times relevant to this prosecution has been a married man,” reads his recent court filing.

Roman has also accused Wade of misappropriating a substantial amount of legal fees, approximately $654,000, received from the Fulton County DA’s Office for the Trump case, allegedly using this money to finance vacations with Willis.

Willis’s lawyers have also been active in the ongoing divorce case between Wade and his estranged wife, Joycelyn Wade.

They have requested a judge to dismiss the subpoena for Willis’s testimony.

Their argument hinges on the claim that Wade’s marriage was beyond repair as early as 2017, well before Willis and Nathan Wade met.

They further allege an adulterous relationship between Joycelyn and Nathan’s friend.

“There is no information that District Attorney Willis could provide that might prove relevant to granting or denying the divorce,” allege the court documents filed by Willis’ lawyer Cinque Axam.

According to Axam, Joycelyn Wade’s attempt to depose Willis is a tactic to harass Willis and “damage her professional reputation.”

Willis has called Wade a “great friend and a great lawyer,” and a “superstar,” arguing that the accusations against them might be racially motivated.
