(TheRedAlertNews.com) – US ally Israel has already managed to punish many of the figures in the Palestinian Islamist terrorist group Hamas responsible for the hellish October 7 massacre of over 1,400 Israelis – as the Israeli military has released “happy” photos of now-eliminated terrorist operatives.
Following the sadistic October 7 attack, Israel embarked on a counter-offensive to neutralize Hamas in its stronghold, the Gaza Strip enclave.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security service recently disclosed several images from Gaza tunnels created by Hamas.
These images included one showing five senior members of Hamas who were killed in a strike, Fox News reports.
According to a joint statement by the IDF and Shin Bet, the photo captured a group of Hamas leaders during a meeting while eating.
These leaders were key figures in the Northern Gaza Brigade, the second-largest brigade in Hamas.
“With assistance from the IDF Intelligence Directorate and the ISA, IDF soldiers eliminated the brigade’s commander, Ahmed Al-Ghandoor, the Deputy Brigade Commander, Wael Rajab, and other senior operatives, including: the commander of the brigade’s support battalion, the head of the technical and operational support department, and the observation officer for the northern Gaza Strip,” the IDF statement said.
Al-Ghandoor, a significant member of Hamas’ military wing, played a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing all terrorist activities of Hamas in the Northern Gaza Strip.
These high-ranking members were killed during a strike on a tunnel, which they were reportedly using as a hideout.
The IDF stated that this tunnel was situated under civilian homes and near an Indonesian hospital.
Israel has consistently accused Hamas of using civilian areas and sensitive sites like hospitals, homes, and schools as shields.
The IDF also reported the elimination of commanders from various battalions within Hamas’ Gaza City Brigade, its largest brigade. These battalions included the Tsabra Battalion, Shati Battalion, Darj Tapah Battalion, and Shejaiya Battalion.
In the Shati Battalion sector, the IDF gained control over its central strongholds. This battalion is notable for overseeing the central headquarters of Hamas, including its main base at the Shifa Hospital.
Furthermore, the IDF reported the elimination of heads of Hamas’ anti-tank, air formation, and naval formations.
