Top Dem Attacks Jews

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – A repulsive anti-Jewish rant by a high-ranking Democrat has exposed the deep anti-Semitism that radical leftists seem to profess – as the progressivist leader in North Carolina advised against recognizing a local Jewish caucus because “they control everything.”

Anti-Semitism has revealed itself as rampant among the far left since on October 7, the Hamas Islamist terrorist group brutally slaughtered over 1,400 people in US ally Israel.

In recent comes along those lines, Ryan Jenkins, who heads the progressive faction of the North Carolina Democratic Party, attacked the party’s Jewish Caucus.

“If the Democratic Party caves to it, that’s the end of the Democratic Party. We’re not Democrats, we’re the Jewish Caucus. We’re a Zionist group. Because they control everything,” Jenkins said, as cited by The New York Post.

This comment came over a recent decision by the state Democratic Party on recognizing the Jewish Caucus as an affiliated group.

The party ultimately voted against this recognition, with the final tally being 17 against, 16 in favor, and 17 abstentions, WFAE and The Daily Caller reported.

Jenkins, who abstained from voting, allegedly accused the Jewish Caucus of using pressure tactics to sway those who planned to abstain into voting in their favor, according to the Post.

Furthermore, Jenkins reportedly labeled members of the Jewish Caucus as “rich white people.”

The North Carolina progressivist leader also questioned the necessity of recognizing a religion-specific caucus like the Jewish Caucus, given that the party already has an Interfaith Caucus, and no other religion-specific caucus had previously been acknowledged by the party.

Jenkins’ comments were criticized by the Anti-Defamation League, an otherwise leftist nonprofit which was started as a Jewish rights organization.

“Anti-Jewish tropes are often rooted in conspiratorial thinking related to disproportionate Jewish control or power,” the ADL said.

The Caller notes that the question of Jewish racial identity has been a matter of debate.

In 2022, television host Whoopi Goldberg faced suspension from “The View” after claiming the Holocaust was “not about race,” as it involved “two groups of white people.”

The North Carolina Democratic Party has distanced itself from Jenkins’ remarks.

“Ryan Jenkins doesn’t speak for the party nor does his statement reflect an accurate depiction of what occurred,” it said in a statement on X.

“We are deeply disappointed to see these attacks from someone whom we believe should be an ally,” commented Jeffrey Bierer, leader of the Jewish Caucus.
