Biden Speaks Up 2 Days Late

Joe Biden

( – After being MIA during one of the worst attacks directed at one of the United States’s closest allies, Joe Biden has finally acknowledged that a tragic Hamas terrorist attack in Israel had claimed the lives of at least 14 American citizens. Unbelievably, this marked his first public appearance in two whole days.

The deadly incident occurred when Hamas brutally attacked and captured Israeli citizens after crossing into Israel on Saturday morning. Biden talked about the situation, confirming that Americans were among those held hostage by Hamas, and additional American fatalities were reported.

Biden deemed what happened “an act of sheer evil,” describing the devastating toll on civilians. He said, “More than 1,000 civilians slaughtered. Not just killed. Slaughtered in Israel. Among them, at least 14 American citizens killed. Parents butchered using their bodies to try to protect their children. Stomach-churning reports of babies being killed. Entire families slang. Young people massacred while attending a music festival to celebrate peace. To celebrate peace. Women raped, assaulted, paraded as trophies.”

Approximately 20 Americans are currently reported as missing in Israel following the Hamas attack, although the exact number of American hostages remains unclear, as informed by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

As of now, Biden has failed to reach out to the families of the 14 Americans who lost their lives in the attack. He also announced that the United States would provide additional support to Israel and collaborate with Congress to facilitate this assistance.

Criticism had been mounting over Biden’s absence from the public eye for several days following the outbreak of conflict in Israel. He faced scrutiny for hosting a White House staff barbecue on the same day as the conflict escalated. Additionally, the White House announced a “lid” before noon, indicating a lack of scheduled public events, which drew criticism.

In response to inquiries about the early “lid,” a White House spokesperson stated that the president would supposedly be “working on supporting Israel all day.”

Apparently, Biden also issued a written statement announcing the deployment of “experts” to assist American citizens who were left stranded or held hostage in Israel after the Hamas attack.

For Americans wishing to leave the country, Biden recommended that they secure commercial flights or explore “ground options” to exit the war-torn region. Notably, major airlines such as Delta, United, and American had begun canceling flights to and from Israel in the hours leading up to the president’s suggestion.

Following his announcement of the rising American citizen death toll and the confirmation of Americans being held hostage, Biden refused to take on any questions from the media.
