Dems Open ‘Floodgates’ for WHO?!

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In an outrageous move that will have millions of Americans enraged, Democrat Congress members are working on a plan to “open the floodgates” for Palestinian Arabs to emigrate to the US – never mind that they are being rejected even by fellow Muslim Arab countries.

The current tensions in the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict shot up to new heights after October 7, when the Palestinian Islamist terrorist organization Hamas sadistically slaughtered over 1,400 people in the Jewish State.

Israel’s response involving going after Hamas inside the tiny, overcrowded enclave of the Gaza Strip has raised hue and cry among leftists and Muslims in the United States and worldwide.

At the same time, even Jordan, which borders the Palestinian West Bank, and Egypt, which borders the Gaza Strip, have categorically refused to accept refugees from Gaza’s 2.2 million people.

Palestinian immigrant communities have a reputation for stirring trouble even in fellow Muslim Arab nations – such as trying to depose Jordan’s king and helping spur Lebanon’s bloody civil war in the 1970s.

Nevertheless, leading Democrats in the House and Senate are pushing a proposal that could significantly increase the number of Palestinians permitted to reside in the United States, according to information obtained by the Daily Caller.

This initiative involves urging President Joe Biden to grant Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) to Palestinians currently in the US, essentially preventing their deportation.

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), and Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) are spearheading the effort, encouraging their Democratic colleagues to join them in signing a letter that advocates for this immigration policy change.

The TPS and DED designations are sought to provide a safeguard for Palestinians against removal from the country.

This Democratic push aligns with the actions of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has historically supported Democrat causes. CAIR has already made its stance known to President Biden through a letter that mirrors the legislative intent, requesting the same protections for Palestinians.

Concurrently, Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT) and other GOP lawmakers have taken a legislative stance against this potential increase in Palestinian immigration.

They have introduced a bill to prevent the Department of Homeland Security from issuing green cards, visas, refugee statuses, and parole to Palestinians.

However, Biden administration officials have refused to implement measures that would revoke visas of pro-Hamas foreign nationals living in the US.
