Trump Reveals January 6 Judge’s Extreme Bias

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – The judge overseeing the second federal indictment of Donald Trump is ferociously biased against him, the former president believes, and he has produced a quote in which the judge decries the fact that he still “remains free.”

Washington, DC-based US Judge Tanya Chutkan is assigned the Biden Justice Department’s second criminal case against Trump, in which he is accused of trying to overturn the 2020 election.

Writing on Truth Social, the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican nomination, pointed to a shockingly telling quote from Chutkan’s sentencing of a January 6, 2021, protester.

Last October, the leftist judge appointed by Barack Obama in 2014 sentenced Christine Priola to 15 months in prison for participating in the January 6 events at the US Capitol.

“The following TRUTH is a quote by highly partisan Judge Tanya Chutkan, angrily sentencing a J-6er in October of 2022. She obviously wants me behind bars. VERY BIASED & UNFAIR!” Trump wrote.

He posted the following quote by Chutkan, who seemingly concluded that the January 6 protesters weren’t loyal to the American Constitution but solely to Donald Trump.

“I see the videotapes. I see the footage of the flags and the signs that people were carrying and the hats that they were wearing, and the garb. And the people who mobbed that Capitol were there in fealty, in loyalty to one man, not to the Constitution, of which most of the people who come before me seem woefully ignorant; not to the ideals of this county and not to the principles of democracy. It’s blind loyalty to one person who, by the way, remains free to this day,” the judge said regarding the 45th president of the United States.

A Breitbart News report stresses that Chutkan had made clear her bias a year earlier after dismissing comparisons between the treatment of January 6 protesters and violent Black Lives Matter rioters.

“US District Judge Tanya Chutkan called it a false equivalence ‘to compare the actions of people protesting, mostly peacefully, for civil rights’ to the mob that ‘was trying to overthrow the government,’” according to an AP report from October 2021.

“[The comparison] ignores the very real danger that the Jan. 6 riots pose to the foundation of our democracy,” Chutkan concluded, apparently deeming the BLM riots perfectly in order.

Trump has publicly insisted that the judge recuse herself from the case because she worked at the DC law firm “Boies, Schiller, & Flexner,” exactly when Hunter Biden was the firm’s lobbyist.

Last Friday, in what is deemed a victory for Trump’s lawyers, Chutkan ruled that the former president was allowed to “publicly share some non-sensitive evidence” from his trial, Newsmax notes. The Biden prosecutors are seeking January 2, 2024, as the trial date.
